Bordeaux knew they had to hope for a misstep from Metz or Le Havre, and beat Rodez to succeed in moving up to Ligue 1 but their Ligue 1 promotion bid is in jeopardy after their final match of the season was called off on Friday when one of their supporters assaulted Rodez goal scorer Lucas Buades.when Lucas Buades opened the scoring for Rodez after 23 minutes of play, a Girondin supporter managed to enter the field to attack the Rodez player. A totally unacceptable scene which caused the interruption, then the total stoppage of the match. Quickly arrested, the supporter in question turned out to be a long-time member of the Ultramarines bordeaux
